Cash stats - August 2009

Summer have just passed away. But it's still hot these days ) In August it was released one fresh game - Splitty - but you can feel the difference(in earnings =))! Don't forget to check eCPM for MicroTransactions, and few thoughts about them. If you missed add-on for copyright article - check it to. I have get rid of star-wars-looks-like logo in EF:Clone Wars - now it looks even more cooler ).
About conferences - I`m going to stay at home for next 3 months due to family stuff. So I`m 100% sure that I will skip Kiev Casual Connect 2009.
More details about Splitty: licenses, micro, distribution - in next days.

Total by Games: 820$, Total by Portal: 182$, Total by Micro: 30$.

CPMStar - 427$ (average eCPM - 0.31$(+0.01$));
Mochiads - 393$ (average eCPM - 0.20$(+0.04$));

Stats about eCPM for EF:Warfare and Splitty for August:

both games have similar rating(3.5/5).
Splitty (Puzzle)
gameplayes:370000+, hosts:400+
Micro 12.5$ - 0.03$ eCPM
Ads 91.0$ - 0.24 eCPM

EF-Warfare (RTS)
gameplayes:431000+, hosts:800+
Micro - 19$ - 0.04$ eCPM
Ads - 25.8$ - 0.05$ eCPM

few thoughts:
1) eCPM will go down very fast to small amounts after your beginning distribution, which was obvious(small conversion rate to register at new site, again conversion rate to put own money to new site).
2) Hardcore games are much better work with Micro items.
3) You better to have any kind of own traffic - so you can implement any of micro-networks. The more users in networks the more players can spend money in your games. And in other games =)
4) If you're going to implement Micro-stuff in your game - you have to add achievements as well. You have to do quality game. Implementing shop/shops will take time and lot of extra work. Splitty have 5 micro-networks inside - that took few days to add them, few days to test them and put live. But now I have engine which support them all =)
5) Right now micro-transactions can be used with or without ads. It's cool for long-run, but for quick money ads still better.
